Being a PhD-student himself, now finalising his PhD-thesis following his research on the possible role of music making in social and community work in Kinshasa (DR Congo), Lukas Pairon is participating as a participant in the 1st international research seminar which the research platform SIMM is organising for researchers in collaboration with the famous Sibelius Academy (UniArts) in Helsinki.  This first SIMM research seminar allows post-graduate students and early-career researchers involved in ongoing research on the possible role of music in social and community work (SIMM) to spend a week together and share their research experiences.
