Lukas presents together with artist Aline Moens the animated film ‘Message from Gaza‘ which was made in 2017 by young people in Gaza during the Summer activities of UNRWA in Gaza. Young people from Brussels created music and texts to accompany this animated film, which was first shown at the Maison de la création in Brussels at the end of a rap and music creation workshop in November 2017.
The young people in Gaza are Palestinian refugee children from United Nations schools (UNRWA) and programmes of the A.M. Qattan Foundation. The project in Gaza was proposed, developed and supported in Gaza as part of the UNRWA Summer Fun Weeks by Brussels artists Aline Moens (Graphoui) and Michèle Vanvlasselaer (Glazza).
